The process involves injecting high density polyurethane foam, made with up to 50% recycled materials, under the concrete through a 5/8” hole. The expanding foam will fill any voids while gently lifting and stabilizing the concrete slab, without the use of heavy equipment or damage to the adjacent landscapes. This sunken carport badly needed repair.
The slab sank leaving this floating step
The slab had cracked and settled just over 2".
After the slab had been raised back under the step.
That 2" step at the crack was leveled and joints caulked.
It turned out great and the customer was very happy with the results. All done for less than half the cost of removal and replacement!
